BELLINGHAM, Wash. — It was a dream come true for Lynden 6-year-old JT Monday night thanks to the Bellingham Bells and Make-A-Wish Foundation.

In what his family calls a refreshing break from hospitals and treatments, JT was chauffeured via limo to the Opening Day game where he was greeted by players and coaches.

JT ran the bases and threw the first pitch as fans, players and coaches cheered him on.

He then got to spend the game in the Bellingham Bells’ dugout with the team and served as bat boy.
