15-year-old charged with murder for July hit and run

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. – A 15-year-old has now been charged with murder following the hit and run death of a jogger in Snohomish County.

Prosecutors say the teen intentionally hit 53-year-old Greg Moore as he was finishing a run in July.

Court documents state the girl laughed as Moore’s body flew over the windshield and even returned to the scene later to look at the body.

The teen then attempted to cover up her crime over the following weeks, out of concern that her friends would snitch on her.

She will be tried as a juvenile, which would put her behind bars until she turns 21.
