VADER, Wash. — A 16-year-old Cowlitz County boy died when he fell off a steep, 60-foot embankment along the Cowlitz River.
The Longview Daily News reports Tristan Allen Vandel was declared dead at the scene late Friday night.
The Coroner’s Office says he died from blunt force trauma and ruled his death an accident.
