The Class 1A District softball tournament got underway in Sedro-Woolley Thursday. Lynden Christian beat Nooksack Valley 22-1 to move on to the district title game against South Whidbey Saturday at 2:00.
Nooksack Valley had beaten Cedar Park Christian earlier 7-0. With the loss to L-C the Pioneers have a loser-out game against Sultan Saturday at noon.
Mount Baker defeated Sultan 19-0 before falling to South Whidbey 3-0. The Mountaineers now have a loser-out game against Cedar Park Christian noon on Saturday.
