BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A new Whatcom County realtor simultaneously helps clients and local nonprofits.

Windermere real estate broker Rob Weston and community development entrepreneur Sean Hall started “2roofs.”

Weston and Hall give a portion of their commission to a nonprofit. Hall named Habitat for Humanity, The Lighthouse Mission, Lydia Place, and the Sean Humphrey House as potential nonprofit beneficiaries for 2roofs.

“That nonprofit’s going to give us the story that we’re able then to connect our clients with, so that they can feel the meaning that their sale had,” Hall said in a promotional video on the company’s Facebook page.

Giving to the nonprofit doesn’t cost clients any additional money, Hall said.

Once the sale closes, 2-Roofs gives clients a hardcover book with the story of how their sale made a difference.
