TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — A 13-year-old girl was released from the hospital Saturday after a hit-and-run driver injured her and two siblings in Tacoma.
KOMO-TV reports the children were walking home Tuesday night when they saw headlights approaching from behind. Suddenly they felt an impact.
A 16-year-old boy suffered scrapes across his arms. His 11-year-old sister has a cut on her cheek from her fall.
But their 13-year-old sister got the worst of it. She spent several days in the hospital after suffering a lacerated liver and a concussion.
Their mother, Misti Singleton, says she’s angry that the driver didn’t stop.
