MOUNT VERNON, Wash. — Three people were injured and two vehicles totaled in a late night DUI crash last night near Mount Vernon.
The Washington State Patrol says Rufino Silva-Anastacia of Mount Vernon was heading east on McClean Road around 9pm when a vehicle driven by a La Conner man slowed and Silva-Anastacia rear ended it.
An infant and a toddler in the La Conner car were properly restrained and uninjured but an adult passenger in that vehicle had to be taken to Harborview for her injuries.
Silva Anastacia also sustained injuries, and charges are pending against him.
The incident remains under investigation.
