BLAINE, Wash – A truck driver not paying attention crashed another semi and sent two people to St. Joseph’s Hospital Friday afternoon.

The Washington State Patrol says Belar Grewal, age 57 of Surrey, BC, rear ended the semi in front of him at the Pacific Highway border crossing.

That truck, driven by Nenad Petrovic of New Westminster, BC then collided with another truck driven by a Saskatchewan driver.

Grewal and Petrovic were both injured; charges are pending against Grewal.
