ANACORTES, Wash. — A 95-year-old woman is dead after a collision with a Skagit County Deputy’s SUV Monday afternoon.
The State Patrol reports Deputy Thomas Moliter was driving south on Highway 20 just before 3 P.M. when Kathryn M. Jensen, who was stopped at the Campbell Lake Road intersection, pulled out in front of him. After the collision, both vehicles came to rest in the northbound lanes.
Troopers say no drugs or alcohol were involved and Moliter is not facing any charges.
