According to Deputy Doug Chadwick Kailee Owen was arrested December 1st for 2 counts of indentity theft and 2 counts of possession of stolen property.
Both incidents took place in early November.
The first was on November 6th, a person reported someone had broke into their car while parked at the Teddy Bear Cove trailhead and stole their wallet.
The second one happened November 11th, someone’s car was broken into while parked at the North Lake Whatcom trailhead and their wallet was stolen.
Both times Owen attempted to make purchases with the stolen credit cards.
Both cases are under investigation.
