BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The man arrested for the shooting in Lynden last week also faces charges for allegedly threatening another man with a gun at a Bellingham party early Saturday.
Lieutenant Claudia Murphy reports officers were called to a party in the 1200 block of Ellis Street at about 1 a.m.
A man told them he was trying to break up the party when a group of men including Landen Marshall Gudde arrived.
He said Gudde called him a racial slur and then held a gun to his head when he objected.
He said he feared for his life as Gudde’s companions told Gudde to “blast him.”
Officers located Gudde in a car on Lakeway Sunday and one of them used a non-lethal shotgun round to subdue him when he became uncooperative and reached back into the car.
