BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A Bellingham man accused of murdering his mother and throwing her body in Lake Samish was found competent to stand trial.
Court documents show after competency restoration and treatment in Eastern State Hospital, Matthew Gregory was found competent Thursday.
He’s accused of killing his mother, Francis, July 28th of last year.
She was found with gashes on her neck and evidence of blunt force trauma on her head.
