SEATTLE, Wash. — Seven fast-food chains will end restrictions on low-wage workers under the threat of a lawsuit from the state of Washington.
Attorney General Bob Ferguson announced the new agreements with the companies Thursday that overturns a policy which prevented employees from getting jobs at competing franchises.
Ferguson cited state antitrust laws that say businesses must compete for workers the same way as they compete for customers.
