SEATTLE, Wash. (AP) — Alaska Airlines is adding additional orders to its 737 Max agreement with Boeing.
KING-5 reports Alaska will receive a total of 68 737-9 Max aircraft with an option for 52 additional planes, increasing the agreement by 23 orders.
The planes will largely replace Alaska’s Airbus fleet, reducing it to ten by 2023.
Alaska plans to put the 737-9 aircraft into service in March.
