SEATTLE, Wash. – Masking up is now optional on a number of airlines.

Alaska Airlines posted to their website on Monday, April 18th, that mask wearing in now optional for guests and employees while traveling in the U.S.

A federal judge recently voided the national COVID-19 mask mandate covering public transportation.

Other airlines that made the same change to their masking policy include Delta Air Lines, American Airlines, United Airlines, Southwest Airlines and JetBlue.

Alaska Airlines is urging people to be kind while this transition takes place.
