BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Alaska Ferry sailings to and from Bellingham have been pushed back again because of on-going mechanical issues with one of the state’s boats.

The first arrival and departure in Bellingham is now scheduled for April 18th.

Sailings were expected to resume in early March, but the ferry Matanuska remains in dry dock and its routes are being transferred to the Columbia and Kennicott.
