BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The City of Bellingham is reminding residents that all consumer fireworks are prohibited within city limits.
Any person who violates the ban is ubject to a fine up to $1,000, with a minimum of $250.
Police also can seize fireworks located within city limits.
Felony charges can be brought against people found guilty of possessing or discharging illegal explosives.
