BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Allegiant is suspending all operations at the Bellingham International Airport.

The temporary suspension in response to the COVID-19 outbreak and the recent border closure goes into effect March 24.

The airline says that the border closure significantly impacted their Bellingham flights, as the majority of their customers are leisure travelers from Canada.

Allegiant is tentatively planning to resume service June 3.
