EVERETT, Wash. — Amazon is expected to open a new distribution center in Everett.

The Daily Herald reports temporary signs that say “Welcome Amazonians” and “Amazonians Start Here” were placed outside the building in the Port of Everett’s industrial waterfront business park along the Snohomish River.

It’s not yet clear when the center will open or how many people it will employ.

Amazon is holding job fairs in Seattle and cities across the country September 17th, aiming to hire more than 30,000 people by early next year.
