SEATTLE, Wash. — Amazon is opening a new fulfillment center in Arlington.
KOMO reports the center will create more than 1000 full-time jobs starting at $15 per hour with a benefits package.
An Amazon spokesperson says it will be a state-of-the-art facility incorporating workers and robots.
Construction near the Arlington airport will begin next week.
Arlington’s mayor says it brings “great jobs with great pay and benefits” and “opportunities for longer-term careers.”
