BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Amtrak Cascades service will return to Bellingham sooner than expected.
The Washington State Department of Transportation says rail service between Seattle and Vancouver BC, with stops in Bellingham, will resume in September.
The department had earlier said service would be delayed until December because of staffing shortages.
