ANACORTES, Wash. — An Anacortes man was hit by a car while walking in the roadway of Highway 20 late Friday evening.
The State Patrol says 58- year old James Proctor was driving eastbound near Dewey, Skagit County when he hit a pedestrian, 34- year old Thomas Garcia.
Both men sustained injuries and Proctor’s vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
No charges have been filed as the incident is under investigation.
