ANACORTES, Wash. – Residents of Anacortes can turn the tap a bit easier now that the city has received a supply of chlorine for water and wastewater treatment.

The Skagit Valley Herald reports the city received a 10-day supply Monday and expects up to a 20 day supply to arrive this week.

The city had announced Friday that it only had a 10 day supply and and asked customers to limit water use.

The company that supplies the city had a power outage that affected its production.
