FERNDALE, Wash. – State Patrol Troopers have arrested a Whatcom County man as a suspect in a fatal hit and run north of Bellingham.
Trooper Heather Axtman says they received an anonymous tip last week and investigators served a search warrant on a pick-up truck that had some damage at a residence near Ferndale on Friday.
The residence is near where 51-year-old Daniel W. Holcomb of Ferndale was hit and killed as he walked along Grandview early on December 20th.
Troopers arrested 43-year-old Joshua Jay Bryant Monday night and booked him into jail for Hit and Run Resulting in Death.
Axtman says he’s been cooperative with investigators.
