FERNDALE, Wash. — Another local distillery has started producing hand sanitizer as global demand soars due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Distiller’s Way in Ferndale is making CDC- and WHO-approved “antiseptic hand rub.”
It’s packaged in 1 liter bottles and sold in cases of 12 at a price of $9.99 per bottle.
The company’s first priority is servicing the needs of first responders and front line workers and after those needs are met, they expect their hand sanitizer to be available at select local retailers.
Bellewood Farms, Chuckanut Bay and Probably Shouldn’t Distilleries are also producing hand sanitizer.
