OLYMPIA, Wash. — Another round of COVID-related housing relief funds for low income Whatcom County residents is on the way.
The state legislature last week released the last big chunk of federal CARES Act funding.
It includes almost $6.9 million in rent and utilities assistance for Whatcom County.
The money can be used to assist households below 80% of the area’s median income but prioritizes households below 50% and unemployed renters.
