Washington State and Washington both posted lopsidded victories Saturday. The Cougars turned their win into a move up, while the Dawgs slipped a bit in the Associated Press college football poll released Sunday.
WSU opened PAC-12 play with a 52-23 thrashing of Oregon State at Martin Stadium. The Cougars moved up three spots to number 21.
UW routed Fresno State 48-16 at Husky Stadium. Despite the win, Washington fell one notch to number 7.
USC is the highest ranked PAC-12 squad at number 5. Utah and Oregon are 23rd and 24th respectively. Stanford and UCLA fell out of the Top-25.
