BELLINGHAM, Wash. — With the summer weather beating down, there’s only one week left to cool off at the local indoor pool.
The City of Bellingham says Arne Hanna Aquatic Center will be closed from August 6-September 3 for annual cleaning and maintenance.
The closure is a week longer than usual this year due to bigger maintenance projects and major repairs, including a deep clean of the pools and a CO2 system upgrade.
The center will extend any swim passes affected by the closure.
