ARLINGTON, Wash. — A store robber that dresses in a giraffe costume is on the loose in Arlington, believed to have been involved in three robberies over the last two weeks.
KOMO reports a clerk at the Trafton General Store was confronted by the man dressed as a giraffe and wearing a mask Friday morning.
The clerk said after he gave the man the money, the robber lifted his arm up and the clerk, who thought the robber had a gun, turned around in time to get pepper sprayed in the back of the head.
A 7-11 in Arlington says it was robbed twice recently and the clerk believes it was the same man.
