FERNDALE, Wash. — A possible burglar in Whatcom County was caught in the act thanks to a report from a good neighbor.
On July 1st, Whatcom County Sheriff’s deputies and Lummi Law and Order officers responded to a 911 call of a burglary in progress in the 4500 block of Orcas Way.
A woman reported seeing a man enter her neighbor’s home through a window.
Officers arrested 28-year-old David Moore of Arlington who admitted to entering the home, indicating that he was “tired from walking all day and needed a place to relax” and later admitted to looking for items to take from the residence.
Moore was booked into the Whatcom County Jail.
