BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Arne Hanna Aquatic Center will re-open at a limited capacity on September 14th.

Bellingham Mayor Seth Fleetwood announced the reopening Saturday, saying that the closure has been especially difficult for people of all ages and abilities who rely on it for recreation, fitness and swim team training.

Pool use will require pre-registration and will be limited to pass holders.

Scholarships will be available for those who do not have passes.

Activities to be offered include lap swimming, water walking, deep water running and water aerobics.
