BELLINGHAM, Wash. – An arson fire at a Bellingham storage facility is under investigation.

The fire was reported just before noon Tuesday, November 9th, in the 3300 block of Airport Drive.

Bellingham Fire Department spokesman Justin Michaelis says there were actually four attempts to light fires at the facility and two of them caused damage.

At least four units and their contents were destroyed but an entire bank of units were affected by smoke and water.

Damage is estimated at $250,000.

Police say they’re working on identifying any suspects in the fire.
