SEATTLE, Wash. — The Archdiocese of Seattle is suspending all public celebrations of mass, including at Assumption Catholic Church in Bellingham.

Archbishop Paul Etienne said in a video announcement he’s following Governor Inslee’s order to cancel all gatherings of 250 people or more.

Assumption’s Father Jeffrey Moore plans to stream celebration of mass on his Facebook page.

The church is open to the public for private prayer but the office is closed to visitors.

More information is available on the Church of the Assumption website.
