“Moby Doll” was captured off of BC’s Saturna Island in 1964, when people didn’t love whales like they do today.
Mark Leiren-Young wrote a book about the orca called “The Killer Whale Who Saved the World.”
He’ll be at Village Books in Fairhaven Friday evening at seven to talk about the book and share rare film footage.
