OLYMPIA, Wash. — If you’re planning your holiday menu, be aware of some food recalls.

In late November, the CDC issued a food safety alert not to eat any romaine lettuce harvested from Salinas, California over concerns of E. coli contamination.

The state Department of Health said to continue avoiding Romaine from that region.

Other recent food recalls in Washington include Hodgson Mill Unbleached All Purpose Flour and Nancy Adams Dark Chocolate Graham Crackers.

More information about food safety and recalled foods is available from the Department of Health website.
