LYNDEN, Wash. – Not all homes in Whatcom County are selling like hotcakes.
The people trying to sell the Bachman Estate in Lynden haven’t been able to take care of business.
The Bellingham Business Journal reports the famous estate has been on the market for about a year, with little interest.
So, the price was slashed about $1.5 million and is now $2.9 million.
Randy Bachman built the house, which includes a recording studio, in 1975 when Bachman-Turner Overdrive hit it big.
If you’ve only seen the outside of the house,
The inside may be more impressive.
Rumors are that Sammy Hagar, the Beach Boys, Frank Sinatra and George Harrison spent time there.
