LYNDEN, Wash. — A portion of Badger Road in Lynden is expected to be closed for the next few months while crews work to replace an old bridge.
Whatcom County Public Works will close West Badger Road at Bertrand Creek, about one mile west of the Guide Meridian, beginning Monday, June 24th.
They anticipate the closure to last through December 2019.
A signed detour will be in place, which takes cars south down Berthusen Road, west along Loomis Trail Road, and then north on Weidkamp Road.
Trucks needing to go west on Badger Road will be detoured via Birch Bay Lynden Road and Sunrise Road.
