BELLINGHAM, Wash. – If you don’t already have your ballot for the August 1st primary election, you should be getting it soon.

Whatcom County Election Coordinator Amy Grasher says you have a couple of options after you fill it out.

“You can return your ballot with a stamp in the mail, or we have postage-free drop box locations throughout the county.”

Some County Council, Bellingham City Council, and Port of Bellingham Commission races will be pared down to two candidates for the November general election.

The county has five new council districts this year.

The Bellingham Herald has a comprehensive article about the primary on its website.
