FERNDALE, Wash. — A longtime local and family-run business is branching out into solar power.
Barron Heating & Air Conditioning is launching a new division called Solar by Barron, providing solar-powered heating and cooling designs.
Owner John Barron says solar energy reduces electricity costs, adds to a home’s value and is good for the environment.
Solar designers with Solar by Barron have already created energy systems for both residential and commercial buildings, including NW Technology in Ferndale.
An open house March 28 from 5-7 in Barron’s Ferndale showroom will introduce the technology for people interested in converting their house to solar power.
