FERNDALE, Wash. — You can get paid while you learn a new trade at a school in Ferndale.

Barron Heating & Air Conditioning announced Monday their new Barron Technician School is seeking candidates for HVAC, electrical and plumbing education programs to fill positions at their three northwest Washington locations.

Owner John Barron says their Ferndale campus is equipped with service and installation labs with classes taught by industry leaders.

Candidates accepted into the program are paid for their classroom, lab and on-the-job training and do not pay tuition.

The company says wages begin around $16 per hour and full-time, year-round positions can reach $45 per hour.
