DOUGLAS COUNTY, Wash. – The Batterman Fire burning near East Wenatchee is now 80 percent contained.
It’s still burning roughly 14,000 acres but yesterday the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office reduced the evacuation levels for all residents effected to Level 1.
Since the fire is still burning, residents should remain on alert until full containment is obtained.
