Bellingham airport receives snow removal grants

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Bellingham International Airport will be ready to fight any snow we get this winter.

The Federal Aviation Administration has awarded a one-million dollar grant to the airport for snow removal equipment, in addition to $135,000 of study money.

The Bellingham Herald reports $750,000 of the money will be spent on a new high speed plow.
