BELLINGHAM, Wash. Whatcom and Skagit Counties are being recognized for good air quality.
The American Lung Association’s State of The Air Report ranks Whatcom and Skagit Counties among the cleanest counties in terms of ozone and fine particulate pollution.
The data looked at the three years starting in 2014.
Bellingham is one of only 6 cities in the nation on all the clean cities lists for ozone, year-round and short-term particulate pollution.
