BELLINGHAM, Wash. — You may have seen reports about Seattle ranking as the number one gloomy major city during the months of November, December and January.
But it turns out Belllingham actually has Seattle beat.
Bertrand Sperling with Bestplaces.net says Bellingham is the gloomiest of the 383 metro areas they looked at.
Bestplaces’ “gloom score” looked at percentage of cloud cover, hours of daylight and the number of days with precipitation.
