BELLLINGHAM, Wash. — Some Bellingham residents may notice discolored tap water in the coming weeks.
The City of Bellingham’s Public Works department will begin annual water main flushing starting April 1.
Flushing may cause temporary water discoloration, which the city says is not harmful to human health.
They suggest running a cold water tap in the bathtub for a few minutes to clear any discoloration.
