Bellingham, WASH. — The Bellingham Bells have canceled their 2020 season.
The decision comes after Mayor Seth Fleetwood ordered the postponement or cancellation of all events at City of Bellingham facilities until August 31 to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Stephanie Morell, General Manager of the Bellingham Bells, says that while the season’s cancellation comes with great disappointment, they are excited and optimistic for the return of baseball at Joe Martin Field in summer 2021.
