BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham’s love and support of music makes it one of the best cities for musicians.
A new survey from CubeSmart ranks Bellingham 14th in a list of the top cities for musicians because of its popular music venues like the Shakedown, Wild Buffalo and more as well as its music festivals such as Downtown Sounds.
While Bellingham isn’t cheap, it is more affordable than Seattle and it offers many family-friendly venues and events for musicians.
It’s also the hometown of famous bands like Death Cab for Cutie, The Posies and ODESZA.
Athens, Georgia ranked as the best city.
