BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Thursday was the last day Bellingham Herald employees reported for work at the paper’s historic downtown building.
Herald employees have been waxing nostalgic on social media about the building on State Street that the paper’s owners built in 1926.
They’re moving to new offices in the Barkley District that the executive editor says are better suited to digital newspaper reporting.
