BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham just won another state award for the city’s bike plan.
The City of Bellingham say they will receive their fourth award in ten years for their progressive transportation planning work, notably the Bicycle Master Plan.
The Washington Chapter of the American Planning Association and the Planning Association of Washington jointly honored Bellingham in recognition of outstanding success in translating plans to reality.
The award’s jury said they were impressed by how much of the plan had been accomplished in a short time.
