BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Bellingham International Airport was featured in The New York Times.
The paper said Seattle Tacoma International Airport is not necessarily the best airport for the Seattle area.
Travelers bound for Seattle and Vancouver can save a significant amount of money by using the Bellingham Airport, the Times said.
The Times found a round trip from San Diego to Bellingham for $104.
It says the same itinerary into Sea-Tac would have cost double, and $556 into Vancouver.
